Help for the extended search

You can combine multiple search parameters.

Some of the available search fields allow direct entering of search terms. Right behind these fields, you can find a small checkbox. If you fill in your search term, the search generally runs for any occurrences of the entered string. By enabling the small checkbox ("Exact"), you can execute a search for that exact term.

There are also option menus. You can select search conditions by clicking on their respective entry in the appearing list there.

The third kind, fields that neither have an "exact" checkbox nor consist of a list, react to your inputs. Once you type in a text, a list of suggested terms appears for you to select from.

Halbfigur nach rechts. Dargestellt ist der Gewürzhändler Cornelis van der Geest (1575–1638), der wichtigste Mäzen und Kunstsammler zu Beginn des 17. Jahrhunderts in Antwerpen. Nach einem Bildnis von Anthony van Dyck.
