Description

Queen Vicoria mit Prinz Arthur auf der Gartenterasse von Osborne House, dem Landsitz der Königin auf der Isle of Wight. Im Hintergrund die Meerenge Solent. Stich von George Zobel (1810-1881) nach einem Gemälde Winterhalters aus dem Geburtsjahr des Prinzen. Das Bild war 1850 ein Geburtstagsgeschenk der Queen an ihren Gemahl Prinz Albert (heute in der Royal Collection, Inv. Nr. RCIN 405963).
