Ganzfiguriges Bildnis, modelliert nach einem Kupferstich von Jakob Merz (1783-1807) aus dem Jahr 1802.

Johann Caspar Lavater war ein reformierter Pfarrer, Philosoph und Schriftsteller aus Zürich, der durch seine Theorie der Physiognomik berühmt geworden war.
