Luther, Melanchthon, Pomeranus (Bugenhagen) und Cruciger übersetzen die Bibel im Jahr 1532. Für den überzeugten Protestanten Labouchère bildete Luthers Leben einen zentralen Gegenstand seiner Malerei.
