An arrow with a probably shaft from reed, with a notch and an arrowhead from iron that is put on the shaft by means of a tang. The long-stemmed part of the tip is wrapped with bast and a fleecy plant fibre and thus conically thickened towards the shaft. The upper part of the tip is leaf-shaped and it has below two pointy barbs that taper off at the end. The leaf-shaped point is provided with indentations on both sides. The shaft is wrapped with bast in the area above the notch as well as below the arrowhead.
The object could not be determined clearly and since no corresponding entry in the inventory could be identified, the provenance is not cleared. Based on the material and the form it is probably an African arrow.
