Quiver

Description

A narrow quiver for arrows that tapers off towards the lower end and which consist out of an inner wooden pipe that is whipped with leather. Into the leather are different lines ornaments engraved. Two leather loops are sewed on through which a carrying strap is pulled.

The provenance of the quiver is not clarified. Based on the used materials and the manner of manufacture an origin from West Africa is supposed.
