Description

A powder flask from wrought sheet brass that is decorated with a very plain engraved pattern. On one side, it is painted red and black in some places (edge, hangers). The strap is from brown woven fabric embroidered with yellow, white and blue ornaments.

The flask is part of the donation of Richard Erlenbusch from 1923. In the inventory, it is described as "Turkish imitation". However, the flask is a typically Moroccan form. Therefore, the origin of the flask cannot be clearly determined.
