A pointedly ending spear shaft resp. spear "shoe" from iron with a socket. Into the socket, a round shaft piece resp. handle is put. The wooden section forms a tip on which probably the upper, again iron part of the spear was put. Below the conical socket, the shaft is slightly square-shaped and then it ends roundly. On the four edges, there are eight notches each.
Presumably, the spear comes from East Africa because it has the characteristic form of the hunting spears of the Masai.
