A sword in the form of an African takoba with a straight, double edged blade that tapers slightly from the hilt to the point. The point is rounded. In the lower third there are three thin, parallel lines that serve as the fullers. The short, broad cross-guard and the handhold are wrapped with leather. The hilt ends in a domed pommel from metal. The scabbard is made from light brown leather with an embossed (African) pattern and follows the shape of the blade. In the area of the point, a green open-work leather facing is applied. In the upper part, the scabbard has a small, open-work application from metal. The scabbard has two loops from leather and a pendant resp. bandolier from thick linen that is wrapped with an originally purple thread and that ends in "sword knots" that are as well wrapped with thread.
