A dagger with a wavy blade, similar to a kris. The blade has a slight midrib. The guard is curved and shaped pointedly. It is bent upwards on one side and downwards on the other side and is decorated with different open-work ornaments, these include two heart-shaped forms. The hilt consists of an antelope or gazelle horn that is attached to the blade by a socket.
General Eugen Glück probably gave the object to the museum in 1933. There is no concrete information about the origin. On an inventory card, the object is marked as "Oriental Kris". Due to its shape and materials, the dagger could originate from Europe as well as from a non-European country. It could be, for example, a Spanish combat knife or a North African dagger.
