Dieser Denar wurde von Gaius Iulius Caesar Octavianus – dem späteren ersten Augustus – und Marcus Aemilius Lepidus ausgegeben. Beide gehörten zum zweiten Triumvirat am Ende der Römischen Republik. Auf dem Avers ist das Seitenporträt von Lepidus nach rechts abgebildet mit seinem Titel als Triumvir in der Legende: LEPIDVS PONT(IFEX) MAX(IMVS) III V(IR) R(EI) P(VBLICAE) C(ONSTITVENDAE). Auf dem Revers ist auch Octavianus Seitenporträt nach rechts abgebildet mit seinem Titel als Triumvir: CAESAR IMP(ERATOR) III VIR R(EI) P(VBLICAE) C(ONSTITVENDAE).
