Diese wohl älteste erhaltene Karlsruher Ladeneinrichtung stammt aus der Karlsruher Stadtapotheke und kann auf das Jahr 1820 datiert werden. Damals erhielt Michael Löhle aus Salem das Privileg in Karlsruhe neben den drei bereits bestehenden eine weitere Apotheke zu betreiben. Nach deren Umzug im Jahr 1883 überdauerte das Mobiliar in einem Nebenraum der neue Apotheke die nächsten 100 Jahre weitgehend unbeschadet. 1988 wurde die Einrichtung dem Stadtmuseum überlassen.
